IMOOPTIK started 14 years ago as a small optical shop and today you can find us at 13 locations throughout western Slovakia – in Bratislava, Modra, Senica, Holíč, Myjava, Vrbové, Šaľa, Nové Zámky, and Komárno. Despite our growth, we remain a family business. We're not—and don't want to be—a faceless chain where you're just another customer. Here, you're known by name, your previous glasses are remembered, and we take the time to assist you.

Our team includes 24 people—optometrists, opticians, and sales staff—many of whom have been with us for years. Some customers have been coming to their "own" optician since they got their first glasses as children and now bring their own kids. Owner Peter Imrich still personally oversees the stores, handles many tasks himself, and knows each location intimately. That's why we follow the same principles everywhere: honest work, fair prices, and a personal touch.

All glasses are made in our own workshops by the very people you meet at the counter. We grind lenses, adjust and repair frames ourselves—in 11 stores, even while you wait—so you can enjoy a coffee and leave with your finished glasses. We also handle repairs others don't, like soldering frames, replacing flex hinges, or refitting favorite lenses into new frames. Our eye exams use modern equipment, including biometric measurements, but most importantly, we listen to how you see and what you need from your glasses.

We're contracted with all health insurance companies, so you can easily claim your glasses allowance with us. Whether you come for an eye exam, new glasses, contact lenses, or just a loose screw, you're always welcome—and you'll leave feeling like you've been taken care of by your own people.
