Progressive lenses

After forty, the eye gradually loses its ability to focus up close, signaling the need for reading glasses—or progressive lenses, which combine all your vision needs in one pair. The upper part of the lens is for distance, the middle for computer or dashboard viewing, and the lower part for reading, with a smooth, invisible transition between zones. At IMOOPTIK, we offer three ranges of XiRON Optics progressive lenses. All are free-form, digitally crafted point by point, differing in the degree of customization, field of view width, and price. We'll help you find the right option during your eye exam—considering your prescription, frame, and daily activities.

Our range of progressive lenses

ELITE B.I.D.N

premium · Camber + IOT technology

The top tier of progressive lenses, combining two optimized surfaces: the front uses Camber semi-finished lenses with variable curvature, while the back is calculated using IOT Digital Ray-Path 2 technology and Steady Plus methodology. Individual parameters—pupil distance, lens-to-eye distance, frame tilt and curvature, and your typical reading distance—are all factored in. Each lens is precisely made for you and your glasses.

  • widest fields of view for both distance and near, with an easy-to-find reading zone

  • minimal peripheral distortion and reduced image 'swimming' when moving your head

  • quick adaptation—even when switching from older progressive lenses

  • thinner, flatter lenses that remain stylish even with stronger prescriptions

  • recommended for demanding wearers, drivers, and medium to high prescriptions and additions

COMFORT

personalized free-form

A balanced choice for everyday wear. IOT free-form design with binocular balance (both lenses are matched so each eye sees equally well), reduced image ripple, and smooth zone transitions. On request, we customize lenses based on how your glasses sit on your face to sharpen vision and speed adaptation.

  • wide fields of view without distracting distortion

  • stable image while walking and looking sideways

  • suitable for medium to high prescriptions and additions

  • excellent quality-to-price ratio

PRO

affordable entry into progressive lenses

Digitally crafted free-form lenses with adjustable inset—the near zone is positioned according to your pupil distance and reading distance, not just an average. Reliable vision at a reasonable price.

  • ideal for first-time progressive wearers and occasional users

  • for lower prescriptions and additions

  • balanced fields of view with basic image ripple reduction

  • easy upgrade to COMFORT or ELITE if you adapt well and want more later

Camber technology

why ELITE B.I.D.N. stands apart

Typical progressive lenses are made from semi-finished lenses with a single front curve that can't be ideal for both distance (which requires a flatter curve) and near vision (which needs a steeper curve). The Camber semi-finished lens features a front surface with curvature that gradually increases from top to bottom—giving each zone its perfect curve. In a double-blind study, wearers compared the same design with and without Camber: those with Camber found the near zone easier to access, experienced equal or better near vision quality, and adapted more quickly.
